Here is another New York Times article that sheds some light on the activity of the Chinese in Australia. The story raises questions about the reasons for their presence in the country, with nefarious intentions being suggested. I don’t think there is as much strategic advantage here in Jamaica for the Chinese, so investment purposes and presence in the region could be other motives. In any case, take a read here.
