Flamingos and alligators.

We were at the park, my daughter on the swings, when we heard a loud “plop”.  It seems a large iguana had fallen out of the tree above. I was extremely grateful that it hadn’t been on her or my head. It dashed away up into a tree. I  got a shot of it while it was green and then brown.

We had a standoff and nobody backed down.

The State Of Emergency continues in Montego Bay. From what we saw, there are road blockades at which drivers must slow down and let the soldiers look in the cars. The soldiers are carrying rifles. I wonder what the tourists think?

I love the colors of this dying plant. It’s almost a khaki.
