Beenie Man vs. Bounty Killer

I think all of Jamaica was watching this on Instagram Live Saturday night. Two dancehall legends engaged in a clash, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer. Apparently, Rihanna and P.Diddy tuned in, and to add to the excitement, the police intervened, as the clash exceeded the 8pm curfew.
And according to Billboard Magazine, Beenie Man emerged the winner, although others weighed in saying Bounty Killer was the winner.

Mistaken Identity

Oh no! For awhile, it appeared Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness had passed away. Or one might have had that impression from a headline and picture on the JIS News Service. It was, in fact, Oliver Clarke, a “media and business mogul”, who died over the weekend. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

A lovely song and video for a Monday. Enjoy!
