New growth

It is a new year. Time for growth and beginnings. What is more emblematic of new beginnings than a garden? Fresh, green sprouts; dark, damp soil and promise of sustenance. This garden is on its way to producing squash, corn, tomatoes, basil, lettuce and we have already eaten arugula. Delicious. Let’s hope the chickens and roosters are untempted.growinggrowingGarden

  1. Hi Kate, Hope you had a good visit with your family! Ah, all this talk of a garden really makes me dream…can’t wait to plant mine. is the quaint little blue house where you are living? It seems so serene and remote, separated from the stresses of the world…although I’m certain that is not the case.
