We are heading up to Negril this morning for the Reggae Marathon. It is hard to believe it is the day before. I am hydrated, carbed up, have a new playlist and some Gus ready to go.

Later we will check into our rooms and then hit the pasta party for our race kits and some more fuel.

In the meantime, enjoy these shots from a lunch party I went to yesterday for 18 Degrees North in celebration of its first season and its award from the Press Association of Jamaica. The whole crew of us, including founder Zahra Burton’s parents, ate at the Golden Dragon and celebrated the win.

Congratulations again Zahra and everyone involved. Now on to the new season! I am now researching a piece again involving minors, again a disturbing topic that needs more light shed on it. Stay tuned.
