Jamaica is currently without a shelter for abused women, as Woman Inc. is renovating its only shelter, a project that will take several months. I am working on a story about it. These are some pictures from the non-profit organization’s office.

This is so true…I had a conversation with a colleague the other day and we came to the conclusion that there is no Ministry that services these populations at all or even recognizes the need for these servives.
Unfortunately a lot of it has to do with the don’t ask don’t tell, mind your own business culture to be honest.
