The use of styrofoam was also banned as of Jan. 1, 2020. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. For the most part, people are following the ban of plastic bags, although there are still plenty of plastic products floating around, like plastic bags that come with packaging, as well as plastic bottles and containers.
