#RedGinger Alpinia purpurata is a popular flower in #Jamaica. However it has escaped & established itself in the wild. Making it one of the top invasive plants in Jamaica & other countries. We have not found any uses for this plant as yet to reduce the spread. #invasivespecies pic.twitter.com/HteeNcdY9o
